StreetPass NYC and Apple Kissa had some hectic, zainy fun at the official Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Launch Party at the Nintendo World Store! We met some amazing fans and even more amazing cosplayers who braved storms over night just to get the game and pose with the Keyblade.

But we also know that everything about the event was not ideal, things that were outside of our control. We were sad the event did not have enough copies of the game for everyone to enjoy, we also knew that the event was during bad weather, mostly outdoors and that sadly most of the Kingdom Hearts fan base were at the awesome Otakon convention.

So we plan to fix that! At select GameStop stores on Saturday, 8/4 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, people who have not bought the game will be able to get hands on experience with Kingdom Hearts 3D for the Nintendo 3DS! Customers can also take advantage of the great trade-in offer that will be running during this event: An extra 30% in-store credit when trading in any games towards the purchase of Kingdom Hearts 3D.
We will once again reality shift this event with our own addition to those die-hard Kingdom Hearts fans who sadly missed this event or never made it inside for launch.

StreetPass NYC will be hosting a Flick Rush Tournament for anyone who shows up with their copy of the game. We will pair gamers up one on one and the people who have the strongest Dream Eaters will earn giant Kingdom Hearts 3D AR Cards that will also unlock rare Dream Eaters in the game.

StreetPass NYC also will welcome Kingdom Hearts cosplayers and interview/photograph you on the spot.

So please come down! We were so impressed with you guys and gals that we felt like Kingdom Hearts 3D deserved MORE than just one event!

P.S.

If we have enough people for the Flick Rush battles, we may have these kinds of tournaments semi-regularly with prizes every other week ALA Kid Icarus: Uprising battles. Spread the word!

Time:
2:30pm – 5:30 pm

It's been 25 Years of Spoony Bards, Ultima, Esper Summons, Limit Breaks and Belts & Zippers! Square-Enix has given us a treat to mark this milestone with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for the Nintendo 3DS! A very deep rhythm game, it takes you through twenty five years of Final Fantasy evolution with the ability to add more songs via DLC, a first for the platform.

We at StreetPass NYC invite you all to celebrate with us at the The Creek and The Cave on Saturday, July 7th from 2:30 PM -- 5:30 PM (though we might stay longer than that). A simple trip on the 7 Train or G Train (via the L) will get you a block away from this awesome venue!

Besides awesome drinks, food, StreetPass Tags and friendships we will also provide these entertaining activities:

-- The Entire Collection of Popular Final Fantasy Music will be blasted from the Battle of the Four Fiends, to Maggie's Cave to One Wing Angel.

-- A Final Fantasy Trivia Contest with the lucky surviving winner receiving a Nintendo $20 eShop Card to buy more DLC for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy or to spend on the Retro Summer Sale on the eShop for the entire month of July! Starts at 4:00 pm sharp.

-- Experience (for perhaps the first time) the chaotic fun of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the Nintendo Gamecube multiplayer mode! We plan on having enough Game Boy Advances and Gamecube Link Cables for an amazing four player rush to bring the Crystal Chalices to fend of the evil Mistma!

We hope you bring a good positive attitude, your best Final Fantasy swag/memorabilia (we will take photos/video and send them to Square-Enix) and of course the new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for Nintendo 3DS!
