There is a new mayor in town, and it's you!

Join us and Nintendo World Store staff in hosting an Animal Crossing celebration Saturday, June 8th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM!

Our Club LOL DJ will be spinning tunes while you interact with our unique Animal Crossing environment; activities include fishing, bug catching, creating art and pictures in our towns photo booth.

In addition here is your chance to purchase Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS a day early.

Both the game and the Animal Crossing 3DS XL bundle will only be available during event hours while supplies last, so don't miss your chance to turn a new leaf into adventure!

NOTE: This event is an official event of the Nintendo World store and StreetPass NYC has no relations to the operation of that event. This event page is for fan promotional purposes only.

Then from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on the High Line between West 13th and West 14th Streets, gaze at the stars, planets, and Moon through the high-powered telescopes of the Amateur Astronomers Association, and chat with the experts about the sights you see!

12:00 PM -- 5:00 PM

Join StreetPass NYC for a fun picnic on our own version of Tortimer Island! We encourage others to add their own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the mix. It can be anything from a bag of pretzels to carrot slices or a desert! As long as it's portable and will not leave a giant mess at the end.

In order to partake in the food eating, you must bring at least one share-able food or drink item yourself. This food item must be posted on the Facebook Event page or E-Mail at streetpassnyc@gmail.com and be approved by our staff. In that post, please list all of the ingredients of the food so people can beware of allergies.

A "Conference of Mayors" meeting at Coney Island is in the works for Summer 2013. "Conference of Mayors" meetings in Autumn and Winter will be announced at a later date. Please look to each "Conference of Mayors" meeting event's individual press releases, event pages and our blog for any schedule changes for rain.
