AIDS Walk New York is an annual fundraising walkathon that benefits GMHC and over 50 other local AIDS service organizations. Founded in 1986, it's now the largest walkathon in the world, and the largest AIDS fundraiser in the world by participation.

We started walking and fundraising for this as a AIDS WALK team since last year and we are the ONLY video game organization that participates in this charity walkathon in the New York Tri-State area. We put our best faces forward and give generously to those who are suffering with the epidemic and support HIV and VD prevention agencies in the five burrows via this event.

We welcome you to sign up and walk with us on the big day!

Our gathering will be at the Pulitzer Fountain between 59th and 58th Street and 5th Ave. It's a huge Fountain and you can't miss it! Look for the StreetPass NYC flag and people with StreetPass Network Shirts and Nintendo 3DS.

Our line up will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If you are not here by 10:00 AM we will have begun walking and instead you will have to meet with us at one of the checkpoints located on this map: http://aidswalk.net/sites/default/files/uploads/ny/About/awny_12_-_aids_walk_new_york_route_map.pdf

We will be Tweeting our walk and you can follow up on us and when we are hitting checkpoints at: http://twitter.com/StreetPassNYC

Again, please sign up at http://bit.ly/AIDS2012 for our walking team! If you do, you will be eligible for our Pokemon DS NYC Shirts raffle and Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Cards while supplies last!

Celebrate the release of Mario Tennis Open (and to relax from our AIDS Walk) by participating in not one but TWO competitions!

One will be an actual tournament for Mario Tennis Open. Match arrangements will be determined on the day. Sign ups begin at 6:00 PM and the game starts up at 7:00 PM sharp. Our only rules are no Mii characters and no Gyro Mode Controls. Touch Screen is allowed. Tournament will begin as doubles and will end as singles for one 1st Place Winner.

NOTE: You don't need a copy of Mario Tennis Open to play, all you need is your Nintendo 3DS via DOWNLOAD PLAY!

The second contest is an actual real life Ping Pong Tournament. We will provide ping pong balls and paddles. Like Mario Tennis Open, tournament will begin as doubles and will end as singles for one 1st Place Winner. A game shall be won by the player/team first scoring 6 points unless both players score 6 points, when the game shall be won by the first player subsequently gaining a lead of 2 points.

The 1st Place Winners of each tournament will win a special one of a kind crystal trophy with a golden idol statuette that depicts either Tennis or Ping Ping depending on the game.

We will also be giving away exclusive Mario Tennis Open mini-posters on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last!

Finally there will food and comfy couches and good times all around. Weather you are the William Sisters or simply a fan of Mario Sports games please come out and join us for a good time all around!
